    Minirin 0.2 mg Tablets

    $50.00

    MINIRIN 0.2 MG TABLETS

Minirin 0.2 mg Tablet has the same structure
as that of the natural hormone vasopressin. Vasopressin lowers the amount of
urine and bleeding by constricting (narrowing) the blood vessels which, in
turn, prevents the loss of water from the body.

USE OF MINIRIN  0.2 MG DESMOPRESSIN TABLETS

    Minirin
0.2 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of
    diabetes insipidus and bed-wetting.

Minirin 0.2 mg Tablet is used for the control,
treatment and prevention of conditions such as
    bedwetting, diabetes insipidus, and Von
willebrand’s disease. It works by limiting the amount of water eliminated
    through urination.

    Minirin
tablets 0.2 mg are used to treat several conditions characterised by over
production of urine or uncontrolled release of urine.  Normally the amount
of urine produced in the kidneys is controlled by vasopressin (arginine
vasopressin or AVP), also known as antidiuretic hormone (ADH), a hormone
produced in the hypothalamus of the brain, stored in the pituitary gland and
released in response to dehydration, such as through perspiration or
insufficient water intake.  AVP acts directly on the kidney tubules to
cause reabsorption of water as the urine passes through.

    SIDE-EFFECTS OF DESMOPRESSIN 0.2 MG
    MINIRIN TABLETS

    Possible side
effects of Minirin 0.2 mg Tablet include nausea, lightheadedness, headache,
belly pain, and abdominal cramps. If you experience side effects other than the
ones listed above, you need to contact your doctor for immediate medical
    assistance.

In addition to its intended effect, Minirin 0.2 mg
Tablet may cause some unwanted effects too. In such cases, you must seek
medical attention immediately. This is not an exhaustive list of side effects.
Please inform your doctor if you experience any adverse reaction to the
    medication.

    MINIRIN TABLETS – DRUGS INTERACTIONS:

     Do not use Minirin
0.2 mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in it.
Before using Minirin 0.2 mg Tablet tell your doctor if you are using any
prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, or other herbal and dietary pills
    and supplements, if you are
pregnant and/or breastfeeding, if you have abnormal
sodium/potassium blood levels, if you suffer from congestive heart
failure, if you have coronary artery disease, if you have a history
of migraineheadaches, if you have abnormally high/low blood pressure, or
if you have any upcoming surgeries. Also let your doctor know your history of
medical problems, pre-existing diseases and current health conditions. Extreme
caution should be taken while administering this medication to the elderly.

Whenever you take more than one medicine, or mix it
with certain foods or beverages, you’re at risk of a drug interaction.

    MINIRIN TABLETS – DRUGS PRECAUTIONS:

Consult your doctor if you are suffering from
any of the following conditions: kidney disease, heart diseases such as

abnormal levels of sodium/potassium in blood (electrolyte imbalance), cystic
fibrosis or any psychological condition causing unusual thirst; asthma,
    epilepsy (fits) or migraine headache.

Restricting the intake of water or other fluids
is very important while taking desmopressin. Drinking excess water during
desmopressin therapy may cause life-threatening electrolyte imbalance, and may
also cause fits. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully about fluid intake.

    Tell your
doctor if you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant or are
    breast-feeding.
    Restrict consumption of alcohol as
it may worsen the side effects.
