WHAT IS MITOTAX INJECTION?
Mitotax 250 MG Injection is an anticancer medicine, used in chemotherapy to treat a number of cancers. Primarily it is used in the treatment of breast cancer and ovarian cancer. It is sold under the trade name of Taxol. Mitotax 250 MG Injection is categorized as a plant alkaloid, a taxane, and an antimicrotubule agent.
USES OF MITOTAX INJECTION:
Mitotax Injection is used for Ovarian cancer, Breast cancer, Advanced non-small cell lung cancer, Allergic reactions, Pancreatic cancer, Aids related cancer cells, Patients non-responsive to anthracycline based therapies, Severe chronic pain, Acute methanol poisoning, and other conditions.
Mitotax Injection may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Mitotax Injection contains Dehydrated Alcohol, Paclitaxel and Polyoxyl 35 Castor Oil as active ingredients.
Mitotax Injection works by treating the allergic reactions; stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body; producing degeneration of nerve function for control of chronic pain and inhibiting metabolism of methanol.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
The most commonly reported side-effects of Mitotax Injection are vomiting, nausea, bleeding, loss of sensation in limbs, mild changes in skin or nails, and inflammation or sores of the inside area of mouth.
COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE:
Mitotax 250 MG Injection is a type of irritant that may cause an inflammation of your vein through which it is being given. Other side effects or reactions that you may experience on taking Mitotax 250 MG Injection are nausea, vomiting tendency, hair loss, diarrhea, hypersensitivity, mucositis, skin rash, flushing, blurred vision, numbness, dizziness, fever, paleness, difficulty in breathing, cough, sweating, slow or irregular heartbeat and chest pain. In certain adverse cases, it may cause major arthralgia, myalgia.

Before using Mitotax Injection, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.).
