inhibitor. It blocks the virus from growing and infecting more cells.
It is an antiviral medicine that prevents human immunodeficiency virus
(HIV) from multiplying in your body.

Raltegravir MEDICINE USES :

Raltegravir is used with other HIV
medications to help control HIV infection. It helps to decrease the
amount of HIV in your body so your immune system can work better. This
lowers your chance of getting HIV complications (such as new infections,
cancer) and improves your quality of life.

RALTEGRAVIR Isentress COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :

nausea; headache, dizziness; tired feeling; or sleep problems (insomnia)

Raltegravir 400 mg  may cause a severe skin reaction that can be fatal. Stop
taking this medicine and get emergency medical help if you have a fever,
general ill feeling, muscle or joint pain, extreme tiredness, trouble
breathing, swelling in your face or tongue, burning in your eyes, skin
pain, followed by a red or purple skin rash that spreads (especially in
the face or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.
